Reiki is a hands-on healing practice and system of spiritual transformation discovered by Mikao Usui. Reiki - universal life energy - is channeled through the practitioner's hands for self-treatment or the treatment of others. Those who have received Reiki typically report enhanced physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. 

First Degree Reiki teaches the student various hand positions for administering Reiki, and includes the first level attunement. It enables the student to perform Reiki on themselves and others.

Second Degree Reiki teaches the use of the first 3 Reiki symbols as well as the student receiving the second attunement. After this, the symbols can be used to increase the strength of the Reiki energy, deal with mental and emotional issues, and to send Reiki at a distance.

The final step is called Reiki Master. Here the student is taught how to give Reiki attunements in person as well as distantly, and how to teach Reiki. A Reiki Master simply has the knowledge and capability to transfer the ability to use Reiki to a student. A Master is ready to be a teacher when he or she has completely mastered the techniques and has seen the many transformational and spiritual wonders in their life that only Reiki can bring.

Karuna Ki

Karuna Ki was created and developed by Vincent Amador and is a form of Reiki. Using the same symbols as in Karuna Reiki and Tera Mai reiki, Karuna Ki is comprised of additionaly symbols and various attunement processes.

Before a Reiki practitioner can attain the Karuna Ki Master level, he must have achieved second-degree Reiki. Karuna Ki, overall, is the interconnection and embodiment of compassion - not just for self-healing but for others, and for sending healing and compassion to all creation as well. A form of sharing the compassion of God, Karuna Ki is likened to 'perfect love.'

This singular attunement brings new symbols to add to your already existing Reiki practice, and requires Reiki Mastery to receive the attunement.
